MP collection choices
 

First off, I would like to say hello to everybody on here. I am not on much, busy with work. But it's good to be back. And I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays.

Anyways, I was sitting home watching TV and I am like, Optimus and Megatron would look good in my living room next to my TV. Unless I find good deals here for Optimus and Megatron, they will be KO's much cheaper. And I won't stop there, I want to get Soundwave as well. Now I am debating whether I should get Prowl, Wheeljack, Ironhide, Maketoys Jazz (Downbeat), Sunstreaker, Sideswipe.

Any opinions and thoughts on these figures?

Based on your avatar picture, get none of them. Wait and get Maketoys Thundercracker. Maketoys already released a Starscream. It isn't a KO of Takara's Starscream, it is a new toy. It is also cheaper than the official MP Thunder cracker.

If you weren't out to buy so many, you wouldn't have to consider fake toys. Just buy one or two, actually take some time to enjoy them, then when you've saved up, buy one or two more.

I think you should get what makes you happy lol. But sometimes the “fake” toys are better than the original.

I think it depends on what your medium term intentions are going to be. If you're going to display, and maybe play, then I agree that KO vs real is a good debate. However, if you're going to handle them, then some of the TT/Hasbro MP are worth it.

I recommend focus on your collection. Get only the ones that you want, and do your research before to make sure you're going to happy with the purchase (TT or 3P or KO) before you do.
