Transformer of the Week 07: Optimus Prime

I just got an Optimus in a Kijiji deal this month! I also found a bunch of his parts at a garage sale in May, so I'm pretty pumped. Optimus is, of course, my secret actual father (like most of us) so I'm pumped to have him in my home.

This was drawn for my friend Diana's father Paul. I'll probably draw another one and ink it up with that nice, satisfying red and blue colour scheme.

Transformer of the Week 08: Snarl

One of the prettiest Dinobots, I recently got a Snarl for the first time and he's quickly become a jewel in my collection. Shiny and chrome!

Transformer of the Week: Soundwave!

I always liked the character on the old show, but I never realized what a fun toy he was until I got him (for $1) at a yard sale last month. He's a great figure, and one of the best henchmen of all time.

Powerful stuff on that Grimlock. Love that Kirby-Crackle on his fire. Awesome!

Birdbrain

I had a couple Monster Pretenders as a kid, but I only found out recently that they combine as well! I'm slowly collecting the pieces to Monstructor; my most recent addition to him is the bulbous Birdbrain!

Scrounge! The hero of "The Smelting Pool!", a childhood-destroying tragedy that cemented Blaster as a major bad-ass in the Marvel Transformer comics.

Huffer

I don't actually own a G1 Huffer. I should get on that, I like him a lot.

Wow, love it!

And your Scrounge is so awesome. He really proved you don't need great strength or skill to be a top hero; only courage & resolve.

I only now realized the similarities between him & Ernest P. from Ernest Goes to Camp. :)
