Exactly! Which is why I don't get any of them either. I mean, I recall not so far in the past seeing mp Optimus for 159.99. Now the reissue coming out around MP 36 time is 219? For a reissue? Obviously just a grubby money grab. I get it, inflation happens. I got back into collecting in 2012. In five years I have seen deluxes go from 12.99 to 14.99 to 16.99 to 17.99 to 19.99 and now 29.99? Inflation of that scale does not happen that fast. The financial buck gotta stop somewhere and if we keep shelling that out then Hasbro will think it is acceptable to keep charging that across the board, and that isn't okay. Doesn't help that I live in NL where sales tax is 15 percent. Yeah, our premier is the Donald Trump of provincial politics lol. If others can economically justify the price hokes to this degree this fast then cool. I just can't support it and feedback here on the boards suggests I am not alone. You know, this wouldn't happen with proper cost saving measures, like eliminating the 1 and 3 step gimmick nonsense and the mess that is crash Combiners. Save plastic and paint for good figures lol.
