Form your Team
 

Figured this would be a fun lil' exercise.

I just saw a clip of season 3 of Transformers Animated ( Haven't watched it,nor do I wish to really) but I really liked the team they had going on with their Rodimus,Hotshot, Brawn,Ironhide,etc. Last stand of the wreckers is another example.

So I figured what team would ya'll make if ya could?

Few rules to follow to keep things interesting, firstly, choose a team of ten autobots or decepticons. Secondly, make them a part of one universe (it's okay if the transformers chosen don't come from there, but we can imagine a form from there, such as a g1 Hotshot opposed to a Armada Hotshot with a g1 team). Combiners don't count as one character but as their respective number of members. Device formers count as one character ( So Soundwave and his cassete-cons count as one). You can specify a leader and why you chose your team if you want to. Looking forward to seeing your teams.

Autobots Team:
Universe: G1/Classics

• Sunstreaker
• Sideswipe
• Warpath
• Inferno
• Red Alert
• Blurr
• Perceptor
• Blaster
• Hot/Hardhead
• Powerglide

I guess this is my Special ops team, Speed and recon coming from our speedsters, tactics from our rescue team, Medic and Gearhead coming from Perceptor,aerial Support with Powerglide,the two heavy hitters and blaster bringing an extra punch..or two!

If I were to make a team, I'd focus on Aerial recon and defense (little known fact; I love aerial combat :P)

- Superion (the main offensive portion of my team)
- Powerglide (scouting plane)
- Jetfire (transport and offensive)
- Cosmos (upper atmosphere scout and defense)
- Sandstorm (transport and offensive)
- Springer (offensive/defensive)

Basically, with Superion as the heavy hitter, guys like Jetfire and Springer are able to focus on smaller groups of Decepticons.

Autobot team of G1 characters

-Ironhide
-Kup
-Trailbreaker
-Hoist
-Brawn
-Cliffjumper
-Hound
-Swerve
-Outback
-Hardhead

Kind of the old guard in a way. You have a team of some of the oldest and most experienced, daring, and rugged autobots working together. Ironhide and Kup would be natural leaders with their ages of experiance while Brawn, Cliffjumper and Trailbreaker add some more tough bots (and forcefields) to the mix.
Hound and Outback would work well off of each other as scouts and trackers. Hoist and Swerve would serve as the team's field medics and scientists while Hardhead would fit in very well since he's all soldier and tough as they come, giving some heavy artillery support to round out the team.

Jazz because he's the Autobots second in command in G1 and a special ops guy.

Mirage as their recon spy guy.

Hound for the holograms and distractions and tracking ability.

Kup as the grizzled vet who acts as Jazz's second in command.

Arcee cause she just kicks ass.

Blaster as their communications guy.

Jetfire as their scientist and quick deployment guy to get them where they need to be.

Brawn for pure strength and solid ass kickery.

Ratchet as the teams medic.

Wheeljack to help Ratchet and for his hairbrained inventions.

Arcee - 2nd in command/Strategist

Hound/Mirage - for espionage missions ie sniping, scouting, retrieval.

Bulkhead - muscle

Ratchet/Wheeljack - Medic/Science team

Silverbolt/Jetfire/Air Razor - Air support

-Cliffjumper (covers Bumblebee)
-Pipes (ground attack)
-Outback (ground attack)
-Bumblebee (plants bomb)
-Brawn (covers Bumblebee)
-Cosmos (coordinates from space)
-Seaspray (under or above water attack)

The decoys lured Cons everywhere, where the team of 3 enters and plants a bomb.
