So who's into RC? Toy or hobby, it's all good!
Here's what I got:
Toy:
Air Hogs Turbo Blast helicopter - looks great but I think I killed the battery or it can't run the replacement motor I installed. Only flies for a couple minutes now.
Air Hogs Pocket Copter - freakin' love this thing. Not exactly pocket-sized in the case but still amazingly small, and I just love the design
Air Hogs Terrain Titans x 7 - tried to collect them all because they're based on vintage Tamiya RC buggies. Couldn't find the Boomerang one though. Fun cars, could be faster though.
Bit Char-G cars x 4 (and a LOT of accessories parts and bodies) - One of them has a booster controller, two of them don't work because the internal batteries were dead when I got them in the mail. I kinda regret buying these now... they're kinda fun but the Terrain Titans steer better and have WAY better range... so yeah these are for sale if anyone wants 'em.

Hot Wheels Stealth Rides x 2 - Got one of the tanks and one of the cars. The tank is pretty sweet but I kind of regret the car because while it is compact, it's not very fast, and Hot Wheels just released a far better product, the Nitro Speeders. Anyway, I love the concept of the Stealth Rides though. Truly pocket-sized.
Other than busted childhood ones, that's it for toys. I do intend to buy a Syma S111G helicopter soon, because they're way better than Air Hogs products and I love the USB charging system. I'm also probably going to get one of the Hot Wheels Nitro Speeders, and 2 of the Air Hogs Hyperactives because I want to be able to race them with my girlfriend indoors...hoping it'll ignite interest in RC for her, I failed to get her into hobby stuff.

Hobby:
Tamiya Tamtech-Gear GB-02 Buggy Champ with lots of upgrades:
-Tamiya GB-02 suspension conversion kit (it started out as a GB-01)
-Tamiya GB-02 soft compound tires
-Tamiya GB-02 Buggy Champ prepainted body
-Flysky FS-GT2 2.4GHz radio system
-Toro Micro 5200kv brushless motor
-Toro Micro 25A brushless ESC with Deans plugs
-3Racing aluminum threaded shocks
-3Racing heavy duty (steel) 18T pinion
-3Racing heavy duty (steel) differential outdrives
-Duratrax 1600mah NiMH batteries with Deans plugs
Runs pretty fast, though since it's 1/16th scale it can't take large terrain. I'd get more speed with LiPo batteries too, but I'm good with NiMHs for now.

During a TF collecting hiatus back in '07 I was convinced that Tomy's 3 3/4" scaled RC Astromech droids were my new obsession.

It began and ended with the weathered version of Artoo.
Hey...I never said I was persistent or anything!

Hah, those are awesome! Tomy (now TakaraTomy of course) actually originally designed the Terrain Titans (as Q-Steers) and Bit Char-G cars too. I wonder if these Droids were based on Takara's Robo-Q technology... quite possible, since that was after the merger.

That is a crazy list there kirbenvost!
I got only two of note bought back in the day:

Ricochet:

I don't know how well those things are remembered so here are some vids.

Hah, thanks... probably too many, oh well...
I remember those! They still have variations of the Ricochet nowadays.

No man, far from it! That's why I'm regretting some of my purchases!
Most of those toys were pretty cheap, bought over long periods of time or on sale... the hobby RC I got on eBay for a good deal and slowly upgraded it over time.
