Today was a bad day for my old transformers. I was moving the last boxes from my storage to my new apartment in burnaby, driving down the barnet highway. I hear a loud "cachung" sound, look in my side mirror and what do I see? A single broken box rolling behind me... I pull over to asses the damage as I was unsure what exactly was in the boxes. At first it wasn't to bad, CDs from the 90s all over the road (in my iTunes so no loss) then I see a silver tail... A megatron tail... And sure enough after ah hour of wandering up and down the highway I found "most" of the remains of my Beast Wars transmetals. Only Rattrap and Cheetor made it out alive (found then in the grass at the side of the road. I think TM2 Megatron got it the worst though, I doubt I found 20% of him.

Wow, that totally sucks to hear dude. Sorry to hear you had to lose them that way. How'd they fall off? Hopefully there were figures that were more valuable to you, that are still safe. I'm sure BW figures aren't to hard to replace at the moment.

Damn! that sucks! Sorry to hear about what happened. Were you driving an open bed truck or something? As Venksta said, At least it wasn't some super expensive items. BW figures should be easily replaceable but to have to do that sucks. I know how I would be and I would be PISSED OFF!

Oh wow, that is heart breaking! >.<
Wandering up and down the highway sounds really dangerous. What time did this happen?

Oh man, that sucks. That must've been pretty horrible. I can imagine that gut sinking feeling when you realized what exactly was in that box.

And now the scalper-scavengers must be prowling up and down Barnet Hwy...
Watch out for Craigslist postings for loose Beast War figures.

Thanks for the posts everybody. To answer your questions, it happened at about 2 in the afternoon. As near as I can figure what happened was that I closed the tailgate but didn't push hard enough to "lock" it shut, which I didn't know could happen. Only the one box was actually pressed up against the gate so it's the one that fell. If I can find them cheap I'll probably get repacement TM Megaton and TM Tatantulus, but as I said they were in storage for a few years. Tech Spec, I just moved near Brentwood mall.
I have a terrible feeling that I put the Windcharger for Delta Raven on top of the box that fell but I'm still sorting stuff out at the new place. It might showup.
