Finally completed. I am quite busy, but wanted to get this up tonight.

Basically we're all disappointed with hasbro's Universe Powerglide color scheme ...so I did what I do and now it's done.

He was dyed in burgundy RIT then painted with many shades of red. The metallics on the arms and legs are about 5 different metallic shades...including my new favorite enamel color called "jet exhaust" which is silver with a touch of gold in it. Drybrushed on that with chrome silver, and the metallic parts...look metal ;) I am quite happy with the result.

I grabbed some G1 canons from my boxes of parts and painted them to match his color scheme. I also painted the eyes light blue (instead of red...wth)

Astoria was made from a polly pocket which I jacked from my daughter. I painted the eyes and face over to match the character better. Painted her dress a pale yellow and added the flowers on her waist. I also sculpted the frill on the bottom of the dress and made some little bracelets. I had too much fun painting her. I even had to cut her hair :sly2:

Anyway, it wasn't Powerglide without her.

Using water-slide decals: I added those "kill credit" markings near the cockpit, they are about 1/8 an inch tall and are Decepticon symbols. I used dry-transfer letters for the heart's lettering "ASTORIA" these letters were 1/16" tall, and a major pain in the ass to get in there and applied. I was really happy with the white pin stripes going down the wings.

Took the pics a little differently this time, used black velvet as the backdrop and a light tent - instead of my typical setup...so PLEASE let me know how you like the results!

If PG looked that good from Hasbro, I would not be passing on this mold.
