View Full Version : titanium 6"ultra magnus repainted

recently aquired a "donor" titanium 6"um which allowed me the freedom to try this out.ever since i got my first um i totally hated the light blue color all over him.with this second um,it was a simple scrub down and repaint.i tried to make him look more like he did in the original movie.:) i may add more small paint details in the future like the roof lights,blue windows,etc but for now im moving on:D

Beautiful, I was thinking of doing the same if I could get my hands on another but alas, my favourite character has to be the most sought after and rare titanium figure :P

thanks for the comments guys!and yes jourdo,i love diving right in especially since ive wanted to try this since titanium um first came out.i still cant believe the color scheme hasbro released him in.wtf!!! all in all,this only took about 2 hours for prep(washing with sunlight dish soap and letting it dry thoroughly)and another 2 hours to paint and clear.

its funny you say that because im in the process of repainting my other um into powered convoy as we speak.soon...:D

It's amazing how a little paint can turn a figure that is mediocre at best into a great figure.
