Hey everyone. Here is my latest model, part of a commission I'm working on. I had to build a new Prime/Magnus model that is more toy accurate, compared to the last previous on. This model is fully animatable and transforms. :) So here are the renders.

Thanks for the replies. :) I've sent TFW2005 wallpaper sizes of the first two images. So watch out for their update soon.

Chans Formers: It depends on which picture your talking about. The first two were put together in photoshop, with images rendered out from my 3d program, which alone took about 10 minutes to render each. Then maybe another 20 minutes of photoshop the effects. :)

Protoform_ironhide: I've been modeling for close to 9 years now. Learning the tools is easy, but learning techniques and style takes longer.

Protoman: Just the TF I was thinking of next. :D

Very nice work!

What I find interesting is the half-way point your Prime has between the Classics and Henkei versions, and some new twists:
- Classics blue shoulders
- Classics deco for the crotch stripe
- Classics silver stripes on the side of the truck
- Henkei red biceps and forearms with silver detailing
- Henkei thighs
- Henkei fists
- original blue crotch stripe instead of the Classics' yellow
- original silver detailing on the legs
- original silver detailing on the head
- original use of blue for the hip joint; from what I recall, it's red on both Classics and Henkei versions...

I was wondering if anyone would notice that, glad someone did. :) Since Prime isn't part of the commission, I decided to have fun with the color detailing, as if I were to give him my own Premium repaint. :D

ptitvite> Thanks for your comment. Ones like that mean alot to me. :)

I figure that if anyone, I'd probably notice details like that, considering I own every version of this mold (minus the original Henkei, which I'll buy in a month), and I've done 2 repaints of the figure already. :)

I really must tell you again what great job you've done with that; you should do Nemesis too, while you're at it. :D

I saw the Crystal version at a local hobby shop a while back. The owner originally told me it was for display, but he had another one for sale... I found out about the one for sale on my next visit, after it was sold. :( I definitely will do the repaints for my model. I'm looking forward to having time to do a Shattered Glass version first. The texturing will be fun. :D
