My Custom Devastator!

Hello Canadian Transformer lovers and everyone else here. I've been by this board before, but never noticed the custom/artwork section, this time, I followed NP over ....so I thought I'd jump in with my latest custom.


First off, want to throw a huge applause for Ptitvite. Without this Devastator, this one wouldn't exist. He's raised the bar for customs..and for inspiration, with me and (i'm sure) lots of you out there. This Custom is my interpretation of his Devastator.

So, after 3+ months in the making, Devastator stands an amazing 16¼" tall. He's got articulation as follows:
-Head is on a ball joint
-waist slightly rotates
-shoulders move in and out
-arms have 360 rotation front/back ways
-elbows
-forearms rotate in and out
-all fingers (minus thumbs) have 3 points each
-up leg/hip moves outwards, back, forward
-knees
-lower legs rotate outward/inwards
-feet pivot on ankle (mixmaster only)

what is mixmaster even made of anyways? i can see the base mold on all the others...

yes each con transforms, i think the last pic shows their robot form. there are individual galleries on my website if you'd like to see more

Mixmaster was made from e Barricade with some modding and combined with 2 diecast matchbox trucks.

If Hasbro/Tomy/Takara had any appreciation of artistry and functionality they would be knocking on your door and offering to mass produce your Devastator under their Masterpiece collection...with a sizable fee to you of course!

I saw this over at TF2005 and it is amazing!!!

Just wondering which cement truck did you use to make mixmaster, I have been searching ebay, but can't find any suitable matches.

If you have any information on it, please let me know.

Hey now. I am looking too, lol.
Basically it was a bedford matchbox truck and random cement truck and E Barricade.

I am about to make a few from scratch, having no luck on ebay.

This is the only truck I found that i liked, do you think it is big enough?

The measurements seem right, but 1/64 seems kind of small to me.

Size: 2.2(h) x 1.5(w) x 4.3(d) inch (5.5 x 3.7 x 11 cm)

might be a tad small, but the cab is perfect.
