They used to do this as TRU Express. They were fun and would usually pop up at Christmas.

Difference is, of course, that it sounds like these aren't pop-up outlets, but actual fixtures.


In this day and age I imagine this is a fairly easy to pull off business model, though. That's still enough space to stock plenty of newer things.

Hopefully orangeville area or dufferin county will see one we had an Express it was vary successfull (wally being only game in town) then they pulled out stupid move at the time let's see a real toy store come back to town tired of driving an hour plus to shop at a decent store.. as toys go out Walmart totally worst store in Canada for no stock

Ya we had 2 Express stores nearby in Windsor. Maybe we can get a Toybox Outlet in Chatham perhaps which is a little closer to me ?

There's enough empty retail space in North Bay that could be filled with something like this.
