It's those legs on the back of the head, they make it look so much larger.

I'm in, though.

So thankful that I have the Generations version.

This thing is Arcee in name only. Blech!

In some ways, this mold is better than generations:
no shell-forming no massive backpack truer silhouette to G1 across the shoulders than generations headmaster
I'll be happy to own both.

Guys is this gonna be released at mass retail brick and mortar stores? I like the classics mild better nut a sucker for a hamster Daniel / arced combo!

^ Doubtful. HTS listing says "Hascon Exclusive". Hascon didn't call it an exclusive, likely to not piss off people like folks folks got when certain TFcon exclusives were available on the web afterward.

I noticed they don't have it listed on the canadian version of their shop, though, just the american.

I never managed to get the generations version but I like the look of this one waaaaaay better.

If only the other was cheaper and you could remove that terrible backpack.

It says: "(...) and the Titans Return Arcee Special Edition Set will be available for purchase for the first time at HASCon before a wider release."

I wouldn't consider HTS as a wider release considering how fast exclusive leftovers sell on that site.

Protoman mentioned in his review that it would get a mass retail release so it shouldn't be a problem.

Protoman also spoke about a Challenge on Velotron boxset. I don't trust him. lol

To be fair, the internet is wider than Rhode Island ;)
I've seen Protoman's review as well and I'm taking it with a grain of salt, given what Pascal wrote above.

That ain't retail-friendly packaging, either. If it were to go to retail, it would need to be repacked, which means there'd almost certainly be no UM TM. Maybe he makes a difference to some folks, I dunno. I'm probably gonna play it safe and order it from HTS.

Re-read my link. Daniel has nothing to do with it. He's right about the no-Magnus version though.

It's a decent novelty, I'm not keen on the large shoulders and thick legs, but car mode it nice.

I gotta agree with ZP, no Hamster Daniel!

They do, but it's expensive.

I just went through the motions on TR Blitzwing, the fig was $25 and the shipping was a whopping $32. Expensive indeed

Jeebus. Thanks for the info. I may need to go a different route.

Not sure what you're referring to, Pascal, cause the link doesn't have more info than the last time I read it. If you mean "wider release", that could mean anything, including just a HTS release.

I'm gonna note again for those inquiring about canadian shipping that the toy does not show up when you search in the canadian store.

Wider release =/= HTS, they're just selling HasCon leftovers. Wider release is what it is, a wider release.

TRUCKvsGUN

Maybe it will be, maybe not. It's not definitive language, just your interpretation. "Retail" would have been definitive, but it doesn't say that.
Don't get me wrong here, I hope you're right.

no problem, I just don't know if there will be another rout oppose to the resale market which could end up being double in price. Just my opinion of course, either way hope it works out

Pretty sure he was referring to the regular release without ultra Magnus when he said wider release. Meaning you will be able to get the figure. My take anyhow.

It was confirmed at HasCon and with many reports about the exclusive online; The toy itself will get a retail release. As I stated in my video, my assumption it will just be without the diecast Magnus head and in Price Point friendly Deluxe package. It was advertised on HasCon's store form as an "Early Access" akin to SDCC Masterpiece Rodimus Prime in 2011.

I have the generations version, but this one looks pretty good. Although the mold looks more like an Elita-One Mold to me. Some tweaks in the robot more needed, obv.
