I am happy to say that I will be doing a panel at TFcon 2016, and it's all about one of my favorite topics. Currently scheduled for Saturday at 3pm, I will be looking at some of the famous franchises and robot characters from Japan that have paved the way for Transformers.
If you are already a fan of Anime and Japanese pop culture, that's great. I think you will find it interesting and entertaining to see everything lined up in the way I will present it.
But if you are NOT a fan of anime, or just don't know anything about it, well that's even better! Allow me the opportunity to show you what the world of robot shows and toys was like before Transformers.
Either way, I feel like you will definitely learn something new and gain a newfound appreciation for the Robots in Disguise that you already love.
Hope to see you there this weekend. Get ready to meet your robot grandpas! And maybe some Kaiju cousins too.
