Wow, 4 degrees celcius and the kids don't have to go to school.... I Thought we we're Canadian?? Pretty weak if you ask me.....

a book? on a snow day? no offense but that seems just a tad boring.

if you can go outside, go for it, that's what i usually do on snow days, just to prove that i got a free day off even though i could CLEARLY make it outside :p

Totally.... last snow day I remember was Winnipeg, 1986. It was so flippin' cold and the snow was so deep we were walking over top of parked cars to get places.... up hill of course....

November 10th, 1986: Winnipeg dug out from beneath 35.8 cm of snow left by a monster 32-hour storm that dumped 30 to 50 cm of the white stuff and created 2 m drifts in southern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. In Winnipeg, officials pulled buses and snowplows off the roads and closed the airport. Residents used snowmobiles to navigate main arteries.


That's a snow day!

Most are gonna have to wait until Friday for March Break. And I agree with the read a book thing, cause I am reading TF: Ghosts of Yesterday right now.:D

I work in a school and I got a call at 6am telling me to go back to bed :D

I've just got back on Chronicles of Riddick (had the game forever, didn't really play it that much). Life is HARD :p

Your forgot to add "both ways!" I never understood why the old timers took a different route to go to school and back that would cause them to go up hill both times.

I can't remember ever getting a snow day back in the day. Well, some unofficial ones... but nothing legit.

I can't remember ever getting a snow day back in the day. Well, some unofficial ones... but nothing legit.

We get a couple each Jan or February....back in the 1960s, something thought it was a good idea to build a university on a mountain...I got stuck up there in January when the buses stopped running, and ended up having to walk down below the snow-line with a broken toe...

I'm just gunna say that Friday is a "Snowday" and take it off. no one goes the last day anyhow.
