Looking at the price of the Classics Cliffjumper mod kit on ePay I think I will settle with the Animated Magnus :D

I discussed in November with the main investors for this project (they're based in Canada) and they told me the retail price is supposed to be affordable (in the $50 range). They were aiming at producing a few thousands units for the Magnus trailer and possibly a special version for North America (not sure if that means a different deco or a trailer in Prime colors).

I would pay $50, but not the insane price of the Cliffjumper mods. Can't wait for some finished pics to show up.

First half of 2008 they told be back then. A lot of things might have changed since, including production numbers and pricing, who knows.

If the Magnus upgrade kit is around $50... hack, even if it were to be around $80 with decent quality and transformation features I'm in! But I can't see myself paying over $100+ for a set for sure.

I hope this will be released in a more formal retail channel (read: not ePay).

Apparently, it's going to be produced in the same factory where real Transformers are being made, using the same grade plastics. The armor is supposed to be solidly attached to Magnus. It looked very sharp in the pictures I've seen.

I want the Magnus armor in Prime colours...show Prime what it's like to get the sloppy seconds repaints for a change.

If someone is doing a group buy/preorder/whatever let me know cuz I'll probably be in.
