I bought a 2nd color of orange, as this cap was off a bit by color, and came out more peach than orange, which doesn't really work for a Sunspot. But all his whites are done, and tonight I'll get that new orange on him. Also, not pictured, is a late entry, I'll be making a Wheelie out of a Cybertron figure..I just have no idea what it's name was though. He'll be the same orange as Sunspot, or I'll use the peach. Not sure yet.

Nice choices and great turn out. I think the wheelie figure you are repainting is Clocker, he seems most suited for the role.

You could try to make a Wheelie out of Brakedown.

So, almost done..I'll finish them this weekend. Annoyingly, since I don't have these figures to reference, I put some back together wrong...Like, Powerglide's arms and wings are set backwards, so I need to take him apart again and then I just need to touch up the paint on them..And then figure out what I want to do with Wheelie..

Ah so you are using Brakedown for Wheelie, not my first choice but will have to see the finished product before I can make judges.

Yeah, I guess that's him..It's for Grimlock79, he's commissioned them, so, I go by what he wanted on it.

lol... awesome comic! Cybertron Warpath looks amazing btw; what paints do you use? Can't wait to see how wheelie turns out...are you planning to still use the same head?

Updated. Uhm, I'll look at the can, it's just the Krylon maroon color.

Are they actual repaints or digibashes? The Strongarm repaints on the far right almost doesn't look real... Warpath is very cool.

They're repaints, I just still had to make his hands and chest area red, and photoshopped that part in.

Ok, well, most are done..Although I just don't like Sunstorm. I want to totally redo him. They still need their stickers and decals applied, but..Here you go. Gears, Warpath, Powerglide and Sunstorm.

The thing that bothers me the most on him is that for the first time, I had to go with multiple layers of paint. Which got thick. Which in turn hides the details on his mold. The only savings grace may be, if I get to do him over again, as I hope I can, is that I didn't use the "bonds to plastic" type Krylon, as they didn't make the colors I needed for him in it, but just used the regular all purpose Krlyon..So. my hopes are that the paint will come off easy enough with some remover and I can have another go at him. We shall see.
And then of course, there is still Wheelie..

Very nice repaints! I like the thickness.... does not bother me too much.
