you can't deny the visual effects and hard work the people who worked on it. transforming cars, planes etc. wow. it blew me away.
but then again the transformers doesn't deserve it. imho. like the cartoons its made only to sell toys. feel free to argue with this statement using the category its nominated on but no matter what and there's no denying it, transformers will always only be one long toy commercial. this goes for gijoe as well. like any awards a commercial gets, no matter which category. no one cares at least i don't anyway. this can also be argued best with that debate on games being an artform.
ANYWAY, yeah hoorah to the hardwork and creativity of the people who made the visual effects. they have it bagged. hopefully this earns them a huge stepping stone in making art.

As opposed to all the other movies made to sell, well, movies? The artistic aspect of the film industry is something I have a lot of difficulty getting behind. All films are made to make money and Transformers is deserving of its nominations. :)

i don't want to repeat what i already said in tfw2005.com but i just don't like how the industry is so dry with new ideas. like how the videogame industry is.
