Longshot

I kept on walking by these Kre-O battle changers for the longest time before caving in and picking up Grimlock. Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee and Starscream are the other offerings available, though I was curious why Megatron wasn't released unless there is a second wave planned and he will be leading that one.

The assembly was quick and easy and the little details on his shoulders and sword are from a small sticker sheet provided.
The transformation from dino to bot (dinobot, yeah!) is super easy but don't expect a perfectly formed dino mode as there is so much you can do with the parts and maintaining the look of Grimlock in both modes.
I would say the engineers or designers did a pretty good job in that department. The only issue I have is the extreme balance issue in bot mode. Because Grimlock has such a huge amount of back plastic he more often than not tips back. He definitely requires a bit of fiddling to get him to stand.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with him and have displayed him proudly.
