YTV will add four new animated series to its schedule in January, starting with a sneak peek of Transformers Animated on New Years Day, the network announced today.

Transformers Animated will debut during YTV's "A Day of Firsts" event on January 1 at 7:00pm (ET). It will then move to its regular time slot of 9:30am on Saturday, January 5. [Source (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=20328)]

Remind me after it airs. I have a PVR that can record to the hard disk and DVD. I'll hook you up if you want.

Although I'm sure it will be up for download within hours of being on the air. I've heard that people might download that kind of thing. ;)

I'm hoping the Vancover timeshift will be showing it at 11:30. Still can sleep in :p . I've got the timeshift because I work late usually and can still catch some stuff a bit later in the evening.

I'll probably be well more into the toys than the cartoon but this is good news! This means we'll get the episodes pretty much contemporanously (same eps at same time, not a month or two later) with the US then right?
I was going to and probably will still download the episodes (I have a vendetta against commercials and no PVR), but I'll try to catch some live on YTV now.

Unfortunately =( It was originally scheduled for Spring wasn't it and then pushed even further back into summer.

9:30 on a saturday? Guess they're trying to bring back good ol saturday morning cartoons. all the ones lately have been disappointing. At least before with pokemon and yu-gi-oh i had something to watch, but those shows went downhill.

I'm scepticle of this show but i think i'll give it a chance. Just for the sake of how good Ultra Magnus (how much i've seen of him anyway) looks.

Skimmed ahead on the TV listings on digital cable, and it still lists Transformers Animated at 7pm tomorrow for an hour and a half. It's possible this is an error due to YTVs apparent rescheduling, but keep an eye out, just in case.

TV Guide says it'll be on from 9:00-10:30 PM in Winnipeg, if they are airing the three first episodes in a special still as a promotion for the new lineup I would think they would have catched this before... Well if at 9 it ain't on I'll be sorely dissapointed, but it won't be the end of the world.

Now it's done, i saw show tonight and for sure i won't miss any episodes. I like it. Starscream is on his better incarnation since G1 (very similar attitude and voice) I'm thinking the same for the rest of the show: best tf serie since G1. I know it's too soon to tell but it's my felling from what i saw. Yeah it's more childish in some points but thats the way they do that type of cartoon ( associate with toys) now.

Great start to new incarnation and new year tonight! Starscream is the best I've seen him in some time. I love Ratchet, but he does seem like he should be Kup. I have no complaints so far! Maybe I'll think of some later....
