Perfect Effect (PE-DX03) Warden

[Longshot]

When I received my Warden today I was almost giddy from anticipation. And everything that you've seen and read about it is absolutely true, it is a sight to behold.
I'm not going to show any transformation shots as there are plenty out on the web. I've been a big fan of the robot mode since seeing it for the first time so I'll keep this drool fest limited to that. But if you want to see the various alt modes feel free to post here for pics and I'll send them up.

Other than the instructions and Warden, this little bonus is a handy wallet-sized calender.

Several plastic trays keep Warden and his various components organized. He looks like a delicious layer cake of plastic goodness. As an aside, Layer Cake (or L4yer Cake) is a pretty good movie starring Daniel Craig and Sienna Miller if you haven't seen it.

After adding on all his pieces he can become quite the hefty fellow. With the pics you can see that five cans of tuna only outweigh him by a mere 9 grams.

Nice little stand but every thing is well-balanced on Warden. I guess it would useful for some fancy poses.

Very impressed with all the detail that went into making Warden. The tank treads or basically the entire surface area of Warden is a joy to go over. He really is a wonderful design and the materials used is just plain fantastic. So far this is my favourite 3rd party offering for 2014 and if he stays that way by the end of this year I would not be surprised.

One thing I feel strange is that I read so many reviews of this PE Warden, seldom saw pictures that put Warden big head mode on Fort, which lead to the question is this mode really that bad?

Half of my reason of buying this is because I have a rid brave maximus without head.
Once my package arrived, I will take some pictures.
I read mix review on the head mode, somebody said it's too big, somebody said it fix just well.

You won't regret it. I hummed and hawed over it wondering if it was a wise purchase but when I got it in hand, it was worth every penny.

I humm and hawed too but when I got it in hand, it was worth every penny. With some third party figures you wonder where the money went. But with warden you feel that you got some good bang for your buck. All the tolerances and paint are spot on.

That's a big head! According to the tuna standard Fortress Maximus' head is three cans high. That's a whole lotta head...
I've seen the pics with Warden sitting atop Fortress Maximus' body and to me its akin to putting Brad Pitt's head on Pee Wee Herman's body or putting Blake Lively's head on Betty White's body (not that I don't think Betty White is not a handsome woman as is). What would be wild is if Perfect Effect made a matching body for Warden. Now I would be willing to pay top dollar for that if it does match Warden.

Indeed, this thing went really quick, I ordered from chimungmung as soon as it appeared, and it's still on the road, and when I checked tony's website just now, it's already gone.
Better wait for the 2nd release then.
