Good to see the boards continuing to grow (even though we could do without the spambots :) ). Lots of people have mentioned to me how they were able to get such great deals from other Canadians through our BST forum here, really glad to hear that. Also good to continue to see people reporting the latest toy sightings to keep their fellow collectors up to date on the latest releases as they become available at retail. Spread the word! Add a Cybertron.ca link in your signature on other boards! Mention the site to other collectors you meet at toy shows and even in the toy isle! Tattoo the URL on your ass like DAK!

Hmmm if more people came here due to that tattoo I would wonder how then came about seeing it to begin with........ unless Dak is an assless chaps kinda guy.

Congrats Cybertron.ca!

So, is that like 30 - 40 active members and the rest are spambots?

Congrats Cybertron.ca!

So, is that like 30 - 40 active members and the rest are spambots?

Pretty much.

More like one-time lurkers/scalpers, especially over this summer. '08 BB anyone?

Congradulations on the amount of members here, although what is dak to do if the website domain changes? :D

As long as dak's buttcheeks aren't used as a promotional picture for the website, we're trying to get more people to visit here, not scare them off!

30-40 active with the balance split between lurk-bots, porn-bots and scalp-bots:p

I haven't even been here for a full year yet (I think) and I've managed to snag a number of transformers I'd been looking for for some time from the BTS forum.

I've used the sponsors for other things, and just enjoy the conversation here.

It's good to be able to interact with other Canadians that share the same experiences as you when it comes to this hobby.

Awesome, you guys all rock!

I think the site overall has really been a great success and has connected a lot of Canadian transfans together. Just through the BST alone I've personally been able to connect with a lot of people since the site began and it's been great getting to know more of you out there. And just think we've only been around since mid-April or so.

So far I think we have the foundations for a great Canadian TF community going here which will only grow stronger in the future. We have a great thing going here and its you guys who make it that way.

Thats great!:) I think the same handful of us that were on at 1000 are still keeping it going at 2000. For all the collecting sites I frequent I would honestly say this one is the best. Its got a great format, is easy to navigate and the posting members are all great folks! Thanks to Bigbot(SuperMegatron) and all the Mods for all your excellent work. Thanks-Rob.

P.S- I don't think we've had a post from a new Manitoba member in months. Come on MB, get off yer butts!

All things considered, this site has been of great service to me and many others. It's really nice to have our own site with the Canadian focus. I've had nothing but positive experiences meeting some of the local members in person and great dealings with many of you on line.
Big pat on the back to all of you out there that maintain the site and moderate, it's a lot of work i'm sure and it's definately appreciated.

Yeah... out of the 3000 members, how many are really active here? 30? From what I've seen on other boards, several register just to access the pictures or the sightings threads that won't display otherwise...

pud333
03-10-2008, 06:28 PM
The number that are consistently active and posting are defintiely few and far between, but I think there are lots of lurkers. I'm a lurker on a bunch of other non TF sites; this is the only one I've posted on for any regular amount of time. It's a great resource and community for lurkers and posters alike, so 3000 is definitely a great achievement! Besides, spambots also need love. :D

hey I'm also from 123456 too!!1

More lurkers...hurray?

ohhh those Lurkers... emiting their waves of supra-dense spines against enemies, and having a full width of damage of ten meters! Damn you! But, there only weakness is that they're virtually defenseless while above ground. I'll get you yet with my army of SCVS!!! :D

...seriously though, thank you everyone [including Lurkers and Spambots] for making Cybertron.ca what it is today...

Good question, Pascal. Just for you I did some detective work.

540 usernames have posted more than once. Samples of the 2, 3, and 4-time posters revealed genuine posts. This means 540 non-lurkers!

If 'active' is defined at 10 posts, that makes 295 usernames.
Not bad!:)
