Major Update since I first posted the wip pics at the bottom of this post :)

So I had a previous thread on this guy but I've re-done a ton of stuff and figured I might as well open a new thread since he's pretty much built now...just needs paint.

Anyway, this used to be that voyager class Ultimate Optimus Prime (DOTM) figure but I swapped in, built, and modified all kinds of parts (new head, new shoulders, elbows, forearms, hands, waist section, back, thighs, shins, lower leg sides, feet, and helmet.

I also gave him a modded sword and he'll come with a BFG too. I aslo gave him an articulated waist - 45 degree twists though...

Anyway, here he is...He'll be painted up Modern-G1 style with some damage effects although subtle, and maybe some glow effects...not sure...

Another Update - He is all painted up!! - Unfiltered pics tomorrow :D

Update: 01/06/2013

Well, re-worked some of his parts yet again and then primed, edge lined the parts that will be black, and painted his face. I cut up the DOTM Ultimate Prime trailer and will be using a bunch of parts of the trailer parts to be painted and then added onto this Motormaster as to incorporate his trailer into his body :), stay tuned..

Update: 01/2013

Different approach at legs now, more solid build and more in sync with the overall look now I think :)

UPDATE: Add more beef to his shoulder pads/boxes, gave him a back with trailer surfacing, added a center piece to his front waist/bumper, added shins, and fine tuned and shortened his feet.
Now he only needs some smoke stacks and a paint job ;)

Didn't like the Optimus that came with the Ultimate figure set so I decided to mod him into something more suitable IMO of course :)

Modded his front waist bumper a bit and added a center piece to it. I'll shave and mold the top and bottom to form the angles of the bumper as well once done.
Also gave him built shoulder box housings - still retains articulation but needs some fine-tuning.
Modded and adhered his feet finally.
Gave him a sword and he has a gun (not pictured).
Gave him a boxed helmet and head is on a balljoint.
New thighs, new arms, outer leg tires, chest, ab tires, and more...

Still have to do new shins, add some more pieces to his shoulder boxes, and finish up his back with a rear cowl kinda thing...

Very cool concept. Will it still be able to combine with the trailer?

This is already looking fantastic, I'm impressed how the aesthetics blend. Looking forward to the paint!

Sadly no, but I hope to make up for it in his paint apps!

Thanks, lot of attempts to get it to look decent.

It won't combine with the trailer but will it still transform? Look great by the way! :)
