so yeah,i think i found a good use for a pretty cruddy mold.
ladies and gents,classics blaster,using a deluxe 2pac classics prime.
mods are....

permanently fused mid section,so no more tasmanian devil hurricane spin feature.
knee-cap tops clipped and ground down.
upper front bot mode chest was ground down flat, then a inner windshield from a g1 inferno(grapple would work too) was sliced down to a lower profile, and a heat formed chunk of styrene was fused to it.
the buttons under his chest is essentially a cut down sideskirt piece from a 1/24 scale vw rabbit model kit.
his feet were dissassembled, flipped around, then cut down on what used to be the front of his feet.
the big speakers are a set of front wheels from a tftm07 old school bb.
the small speakers in bot mode are wheels from a thomas the tank engine.
the tweeters in alt mode are lego bits.
the tweeters in bot mode are laser cut acrylic.
his head is from cybertron crosswise, with the sides ground down and bits of styrene added for his trademark ears.
his gun is from cybertron hotshot, modified with a chunk from inside a ronson lighter(the chunk that makes the spark to ignite the gas)and two rear brake discs from the same vw kit.
i guess this mistransformation would also make this mold pretty viable as his arch enemy soundwave.
nuff talkie...pics...

(sorry for the big sized pics, photobucket switched up and i'm trying to get used to it)

with rts prime for size comparison

My God that is beautiful! Quick sell it to a 3rd party so they can mass produce this! I would love to have a classic like this in my collection.

Hot damn, great custom chans, especially considering the base figure.

Holy crap!

I saw the words "cruddy mold" and assumed Titanium Soundwave and scrolled down to the pictures. I saw the pictures and was impressed with the paintwork, but still...Titanium Soundwave. Ech. Then I looked at the pictures and realized that assumption couldn't be right. Went back up to see what the cruddy mold was and mind = blown.

Awesome job!
