I passed on the TFC hercules, and I'm thinking this will be a great substitute. I'm hoping all the figure are released close togther so I don't have to wait to long for thte set.

The yellow colour doesn't bother me much, I always thought they were yellow growing up anyway, of course I was colourblind and still am.

Looking at the pics it seems to me that the Maketoys version of "Devastator" is just a little bit smaller/shorter than the TFC one. Am I correct?

The MakeToys version is promoted to be as tall as, or in scale with, the Classics/Universe/Movie repaints of the Energon Superion Maximus and Bruticus Maximus combiners. Where as TFC Hercules(Devastator) is the same size as Cybertron Primus. So yes, somewhat bigger.

Really not digging these guys as much as Hercules. And that's me not being biased as someone who took the Hercules route.

The Limb modes don't transform as creatively as the Hercules limbs and the Robot modes kinda look like dollar store TF's IMHO especially "Not Scavenger"

I'll reserve final judgement till we see the in-hand final "Not Devastator" combined figure.

Can't wait for the green version to come out. I'm glad the yellow one is being released first though so they can iron out any issues, e.g. the neck issue with Battle Tanker.
