Masterpiece Doppelganger MP-09B

I really like this release. He is different from the first release of the MP-09 in a few ways. I suspect it is a second generation. The leg panels are not rivoted on and will just pop on and off if to much stress is applied. I found it easier to transform him when trying to line up the leg tabs. I put him in Alt mode and he lines up perfectly. I had a bit of trouble first time with the feet because I didn't have it on the correct ratchet catch and the side panel flap and fists where not lining up. My bad. I hadn't TF my rodimus in a while so I forgot. Soon as they all lined up all was good. I went to slide the car into the trailer and it was smooth like a glove. No binding or anything. I prolly could have lined it up better but I didn't have patience for that. I transformed him back to bot mode. I noticed that that rear wing his securely fastened. I shook him quite vigorously to see if the tab dislodged and it stayed intact. The gun tabs fit perfectly and stayed in both hands as well as the chrome exhaust tabbed in without and issue. Oh yeah and if you didn't notice all four wheel are touching and rolls nicely. Awesome. I will take some close up shots and add them later.

Outer packaging - Front and rear look awesome
I really like the carbon fibre feel and the Decepticon colour scheme. Teal, purple and black work for me.

The inner packaging is exactly the same as the original MP-09.

He really is cool. I am totally digging the colour scheme. I think Ehobby has taken Rodi to a new level. I hope they make an MP-10 Nemesis version to compliment him. I'd be into that if the price tag was reasonable. But when is it ever with the MP line?
