I thought I was going to like the robot modes and possibly purchase just for that to be my classics dinobots, but frankly, I feel the G1 bots are better than these. I really dislike them..... a lot.

Quick Edit. I dislike them based on the price there going to be as well for what they are and the combining gimmick for dinobots is just not for me.

MAYBE the color shots will grow on me when we see them........

Hmm, not sure I like this yet. I certainly like the concept, but I was hoping for more G1 influences in the bot modes. I'll wait for colored sample shots (and price info) before deciding to purchase or not.

I'm definitely not into the whole detatch the tail thing, but I wouldn't be buying them for their individual bot modes anyways so

I find them to be nice looking tranformers dinosaurs but not dinobots. I do like the mecha godzilla vibe they have.

why is grimlocks head the head of the combined form>?

and they look like shell formers.

grimlocks feet look like garbage and slag in dino mode his legs look too long in the front..

unless they are cheap i wont be buying them..

and wtf is with the removable tails??? craptastic.

I like Slag and Swoop. That's it though. Ever since I was a kid I always believed that a combined Dinobot robot would be awesome and now that we have one, it's nice but not as great as I wished

I guess we were hoping that the robot modes would be significantly more awesome. Given the constraints, they're not bad. But they won't be the CHUG Dinobots I think some were hoping for.

If Hasbro were coming out with this (at the standard pricepoints) I'd be really excited and would be ready to hunt them down.

But I think they're going to cost a bit more than that...and I'm not sure I want to shell out a mint for something that does a lot of things okay, but none of them really awesomely well.

Looking foward to seeing these in color as well as a review or two before deciding.
