Crazy Devy CDMW-26 Mane and Barrel

Received these today.... Another underwhelming offering by crazy devy. There really isn't much to this upgrade.

Also I noticed the shipping label was for $22.00. If it cost them $22.00 to ship it and they only charged me $9.99, I think there is a flaw in the business plan!

Anyways, The barrel comes in two pieces and unfortunately for me, they don't stay connected. the smaller piece pegs into the large piece and mine just falls apart.

The lion Mane is ok, but I dont think it blends very well with the existing structure. Perhaps some repro labels will help it out.

Overall 4/10......Disappointed

I only have a small amount of G1 figures, even if I did have any of the combiners I would never paying 20-50 for just parts when I can get a full figure for that much. I am asking are they worth the price?

As for worth the money? They make predaking pretty badass, but there way too expensive for what they are and Predaking is now the ultimate parts former.

By any chance did you order the Omega leg extensions from them as well? Have they shown up? Mine still haven't and I'm getting nervous....

Didnt order the omega parts, Im actually not ordering anything else from them, pretty disappointed overall.

As for the connector piece, it's just a small snap on connector for divebomb to make his arm the same length as the other arm but its not a snug fit and as such causes droopy arm symptom. Hopefuly thats just mine, but I doubt it.

The gun barrel falls off if I look at it wrong.

just got mine today (finally had the time to go to the post office to pick it up)

btw....mine is also $22.00, but keep in mind that it's shipped from hong kong so $22 is most likely HKD not USD and $22HKD comes to about $3USD

so, there is no flaw in the business plan :P

played with it for 5 mins, my cannon doesnt fall apart and stays connected, although i agree that the peg should be longer, but for rageD i think this can be solved with some nail polish and thickening the peg

i agree that mane looks a bit bland

divebomb connecting piece seems alright to me though i think the droopy arm syndrome is more because of razorclaw's connector hole is loose in general


overall, its okay.....

I think it will look better if they release a gold sticker set to go with it. It does look extremely awesome.

i thought the back card instructions was pretty obvious, if u look carefully at the details on the orientation and stuff. so the top and bottom of the joint connector.....one shapes like a C and one shapes like a E with a middle bracing, the E goes on top closer to the eagle head

or just use superglue and put an end to it; its not like it has a purpose in breaking into 2 pieces anyways

my bigger beef is that the mane often disconnects from the screwhole connector, because the 2 little pegs attaching them are too small. im thinking about going the superglue route......

Ya I had a bit of a nightmare with those as well, Went to adjust them, fell off, then put back on and knocked the other off, then tried again and messed up the cannons, so on and so forth.

Predaking with the crazy devy upgrades looks insane good, but it has zero play value and zero touchability now as far as I am concerned. There are too many pieces now and not all of them look and feel 100% stable. Positioning him is sometimes a task.

There should be thigh upgrades coming to add movement and fix the Lankyness.

But I will say this. This is the only combiner I will be buying crazy devy upgrades for for a few reasons.
