My entry for TFCon 2011 3d art contest

made of animated hotrod, wreck-gar, lockdown engine, and the rest was styrene

rush paintjob, im not happy with it, and will be redoing a lot of it, and making a completely new helmet.

Awesome job there buddy, I was amazed when I saw it at TFCON. I am surprised that it was still there after Protoman saw it, lol. How are the new forearms attached in Rodimus Prime mode? How did you connect the torso and legs? great job dude.

Can you post some pics of a back and side views?

forearms have a connector inside that clips over the exhaust parts of roddy, you spin his arms around, so the hotrod hands are facing his back, then the 'gloves' plug over the exhaust stacks,

the legs have a lego technic plug which plugs into the waist connection, the waist is connected to hotrods crotch (where i drilled a hole) so when you fold his legs back (powermaster prime style) the gut piece plugs into hotrods crotch,

i'll post more pic tomorrow, or maybe a video;)

working on it lol, i got a second wreckgar, and i want to revamp my idea slightly, and paint it to match the existing hotrod colours, im thinking of making 5-10 of them, as im sure if i can make it look 'officical', people might want them, of course you could always commission me to do one:)
