I've noticed lately that a LOT of Edmontonians have been crawling out of the woodwork over the last month or so on these boards.

Thus, I kick off this census: Who's from the City of Champions? (St. Albert, Sherwod Park and other surrounding municipalities count too)

Hey, if we are counting former Edmontonians, throw me on the Chris Pronger list too. Lived there for 4 years while I learned my trade... then I saw the light and went south. Honestly, I lived near the University, Whyte Ave. and the river valley... very nice area of the city.

Awesome city btw Edmonton<<<<<<<Calgary

Sorry... you must have been drinking while typing again. I've corrected that one for you.

Guess i'll come out of the closet too..... lived there for 8 months about 14 years ago. Many, many good stories came out of that adventure. 3 man slingshots, potato guns, cheap warm beer and everything else that went with being young and fearless.

One St. Albert dweller here. Edmontons ok, I guess, but I like Calgary better.

Hey there. I think my best way to introduce myself to this forum is to bring this thread back. My name is Robert and I represent downtown Edmonton.

I just must point out the obvious irony in this statement given your current location... :p

Yay for zombie threads!

I forgot I'd even made this thread.

I will concede the irony, however. Though to be fair I had no idea I'd be living in Calgary in three years' time when I wrote this.

And there in-lies the beauty of the ZOMBIE thread.

I *heart* looking at my old posts, wondering... wtf was I thinking.

To my secret shame I was born there... haven't been back for anything more than a visit in 22 years though.
