The 'Things that happened while I was out doing sightings' thread

I figured that as we need to stay on topic in the sightings threads but naturally things from when we are out scouting come up that we mention and then start getting discussed, we should have a separate thread for that sort of stuff in order to keep the sightings threads clean.

So people you meet, scalping, stories of adventure, mishaps, etc. could all go in this thread.
