You know when you guys were going through all the Smokescreens, you forgot one...sort of. The black repaint of Prowl 2 from BW. The Owl Prowl. I've often heard that repaint referred to as the "Smokescreen" repaint. Though of course not officially Smokescreen in anyway and hardly worth mentioning.

Also, I couldn't help but think Daniel was going to break out into song with all the times he said "Never Say Never (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Z5-P9v3F8w)". :p

Although I`m still not a fan of the art directive used in animated, I`m going to look into it again for the narratives sake considering you made a real great point about Beast Wars and considering I loved that series animated should be worth it aswell.

i felt the same way about animated when i first saw/heard about it... i'm not a huge fan of "THAT" style of art that all the cartoons use these days... but honestly the writing and all the way the characters are handled is AMAZING and i got SO into it. you really gotta just watch it and you'll see.

Shockwave was so damn perfect his first time around, it will be tough to top it. In the end I see whatever they do being in the same concept and design as Energon Shockblast/Superlink Laserwave. Heck it's why so many people just use THAT for their Classics shelve.

OR a jet a la War for cybertron, which is what I prefer personally.

I'd like to add that I'm really looking forward to modern takes of the late g1 characters. I'm a big fan of that era, Headmasters,Targetmasters,Micromasters,Monsterbots ,Horrorcons,Triggercons,Pretenders and even actionmasters, you name it. I think they're great.

The monsterbots are some of my favorite G1 designs. So if they can toss some of those in when they're completing Season 1 and 2 of the tfs, I'll be one happy camper!

There is nothing to describe on how wonderful the 'Trukk not Munky' segment was.Brilliant job boys,and especially to you Daniel.The fact that you pin-pointed how effective Beast Wars became to the whole Franchise gives me great pride on how effective one Series can be.

I'm surprised that Energon and Cybertron didn't get the Ruined Forever bell.In my neck of the woods,we've complained a lot about the human characters...Kicker in particular.

I never considered Kissplay to be Ruined Forever at all.Granted,when I researched it I was pretty mortified,but if you got a guy who worked in the Hentai industry,this is what you get.Besides,I personally find Kissplay to be far more creative in their sexual standards compared to every 12 year-old anime FanFiction writer.Therefore,I approve.

I know I despise the films for the poor writing/robot character development,but I had to swallow the truth that they did exceed what Beast Wars has done for Hasbro in the past.They cater to us collectors,they cater to even Beast Wars Fans time and again.They gave us more fiction.Though I am proud that Michael,Paramount,Hasbro and the rest of the gang gave us this privilege,I'm personally upset that something so grand and influential could not surpass Beast Wars in terms of deep science fiction writing.

As for Jeff Bennett,he played Brooklyn,Owen Burnett,the Magus,and Vinnie in Gargoyles.

Nice observation on Jack Angel's range Phil.Haven't really seen that myself,since I'm starting G1 backwards as well.But you do got to keep in mind how Voice Acting was done in G1 and not to mention how the direction was done from Season II to the '86 Film to Season III.Whoever was in the room,plus a whole load of characters,there's a strong chance that they would throw in some generic range unless they end up as a main character,in the case for Jack with Ultra Magnus and Cyclonus.

Well boys... I finally had a chance to listen to my first Canadian Slag... And it was really good.

The ruined forever segment was really well done. I knew Protoman was smart with this stuff but I don't think I really appreciated it until listening.

If you haven't already done so (and if you did point me to the episode), I'd love to hear a segment on Prowl. I think he kind of got the shaft in the cartoon, but his character has been much better explored in the comic-verse.

You've only reached a fraction of how obsessive Bieber girls are.They'll get anything from him:The locks of his hair to one of his just worn shoes,an autobiography of his life (Despite starting a life),anything.

As much as I would love seeing pre-teen girls obsess over you,there could only be enough Protoman love to go around...though I wouldn't mind you exceeding GMfan's number of FanGirls :D
