Finally got around to finishing this guy up this weekend. G2 Prime with the usual Nemesis Prime treatment. Black and silver, teal, and red windows. Used clear adhesive with a red print and clear red acrylic paint. Added some chrome smokestacks. Flat black base, some drybrushing, and a few different shades of grey. Gloss clear for the vehicle, dullcote for the bot. Custom Decepticon decal on the roof. I'm calling him Generations NP since I removed the rub sign. He'll be hitting ebay later tonight. C&C welcome, as usual.

Thanks for looking!

great work!!! I've been looking for tutorial about to work with chrome or simulating chrome. How did you get that chrome finish?

On the smokestacks? Those are from a collapsible radio antenna, they were chrome to begin with. As for the stuff below those, I used fusion gloss black, alclad gloss kote clear over that, then alclad II chrome. I then made the mistake of putting too heavy a coat of the alclad clear over it, and it somehow made the chrome look metallic silver. Lesson learned - thin coats!

great job

(the only thing are the cutout at the top of the smokestack,
on real truck the opening point rearward)

great work and remaking that mold. The colored glass makes a huge difference vs the yellow glass. How did you change it if you dont mind me asking?

I used model master clear red acrylic and some clear adhesive vinyl that I printed red on. used the paint for the triangular shaped pieces, and the vinyl for the larger rectangular pieces.
