View Full Version : Repaints & Minor Mods Generations RID Scourge

A no-brainer, had to be done. I'm surprised we haven't seen a ton of these already. Thanks to the almighty Jin for pointing us in the right direction for an in-scale tanker trailer. (1:43 'Fast Lane' utility hauler from TRU). I apologize now for so many pics.

The head is from the Classics deluxe Optimus/Megs 2-pack. I removed that cross from the forehead vent (HATED that!!), sanded the sides down a little and whittled away some of the plastic around his face mask, for a more Prime like look. I added an extra sword (if anyone needs a junker of this mold, holla!). The swords and the wfront windows were painted with Testors Model Master Clear Red. I modded the trailer to split at the center, added a cannon emplacement (cannon can be hand held) and turned the front of the tank into a shield. The tanker interior has a tab to hold the extra sword.

Most of the metal accents are painted with Testors Model Master Metalizer paint, giving it a nice metal look and feel. The flames on the hood and the tanker were painted on (not decals). LED's are installed into the headlights with switches located under his arms, batteries are replaceable. Phew!!! Enjoy!

ARGH! Why isn't there an official Scourge/Nemesis Prime repaint of that already? That's only reason for this mold to exist!

I'm sure they have either a Nemesis Prime or a Scourge repaint coming down the pipe somewhere. Thanks for the love, guys!

it was an obvious repaint,but the extras you put into it pushed it waaaaay past obvious!!

i love the twin cannon hidden in his trailer ala g2,but the pic with the "two" swords totally sold me!!:bow:
