Okay, I love these...but aren't they the Bandai Insecticons instead of the Geewunners? I'm thinking "Ransack" "Chopshop" and "Barrage" as opposed to the "Kickback" "Bombshell" and "Shrapnel".... I mean, they could be painted both ways but....

these remind me when I was younger, use to have knock-off bug transformers, from a bee to a wasp, all sorts. kickback is my favourite then defenitly going to get the other two

No...they're the G1'ers...It just might be hard to see since they're greyscale testshots.

I find it odd that the robot faces don't resemble the G1 bots too much, they might just want to avoid Hasbro's wrath.

You are correct. If you look at them right now without colour their alt modes are inspired but the deluxe insecticons with G1 inspired bot modes. We'll have to see what they look like with paint apps.

They are robot ninjas, so they will need a mask/faceplate and their weapons is a give away.

I'd say it's very likely Automaton will have these up at some point. I believe they've had all the fansprojects figures released so far.

You can see some color in the figures in the background, just gotta look closely. They are definitely going to be purple, yellow, and black from what I can see, and they're going to have the proper coloring in their eyes. Nice !

We actually have not seen what Mastermind Creation's HOS insecticons look like yet. Plus no word when they'll be released either.

Well...I could be wrong...but I think FP are making much bigger runs with their figures/add ons now. I don't think a mad scramble for pre-orders is as necessary as in times past. Though, it does not hurt as I'm sure the up front capital allows them to go forward with other concepts.
