Maybe some hope yet to see the release of animated as a completed series,... shout did a great job of the g1 series taking out rhinos over active sound effects look forward to beast wars and hopefully beast machines as well,... its to bad beast wars 2 and neo were never dubbed,...would have made a good companion to beast wars as they did tie in

Missed the train on the Animated DVDs, I'll wait for these guys to release them too.

Hope it's not going to be some rediculous price like $50 or something, $20-$30 per season or $50 for the series would be perfect. :bow:

You know what else is cool? they are releasing ReBoot too! do you know how long I've been waiting for that? I Loved beast wars but reboot is the rarer set that everyone i know has been waiting for.

I just bought all of the Beast Wars Rhino episodes.... I think I'm good unless there are awesome special features/blu ray releases.

I was just looking on evil bay last night at season 2 and 3. Of course the prices were insane. I've only seen the first season, so I can't wait.

I kept putting off buying the Rhino releases of Beast Wars due to the price, then they were OOP. Very happy about this news, especially since I emailed SHOUT! when the G1 stuff was coming out and they said (at the time) they did not have the BW license. I don't think Rhino damaged the show in any way, but it'll be nice to have it in (most likely) higher quality with better bonus features... and a nicer menu.

Very stoked about Reboot too! Watched the whole run on Teletoon Retro recently, but the picture quality there is not so great. S1 was never & still isn't very good, but boy things pick up for season2... and s3 is amazing. I've never seen s4 at all, so I'm very interested in picking up that set! Bout time Mainframe gave Reboot some lovin'.


To the one poster talking about Animated, hell dude, HASBRO missed the boat on TFA. Season 3 has yet to be released on DVD. And then there was that terrible idea to release the first three eps as a standalone DVD, not including them on the 'season 1' set. I know Animated isn't every fan's cup of tea (no series has been, ugh A/E/C), but I can't remember a TF era just booted to the side like this. It'd be rad if Shout can put out the TFA stuff...

OMG yes! and MORE YES!! the very first transformers show i ever watched and now coming back on DVD by shout! maybe the season 1 set will be due out in the fall of 2011.
