I am not sure if it is a prototype. There was a line in Mexico that made the Diaclone Jets. They also made a Thundercracker. It looks like it was made cheaper to a lesser standard than NA release. He still looks cool though but I don't think it is a prototype. (pre-production??) Wouldn't that be a early gen test model Takara Diaclone.

Hear is a comparison for Thundercracker. Think it is worth it?
