So I got a call from City TV today regarding Transformer collections. The 24 hour Newspaper did a piece on Transformer collecting where the gentleman claimed a large collection of 100 Transformer figures. Well, I don't consider myself a collector anymore and I believe I have about 100 Transformer figures myself so I can just imagine what some of the collections out there are like. Can anyone point me to a good substantial colleciton that I can point these City TV people to? A few come to mind that clock in between the 250 and 300 marks. Anyone else out there?

Spencer.

Though I don't live in Vancouver I'm pretty sure mine clocks in that 250+ range....

I have 100+ and it isn't that much. There should be no problem finding a larger collection in the Vancouver area.

I've got in the 200+ range. 150 or so G1s and the rest is newer stuff.

I'm sure there are much bigger collections in the lower mainland though.

I live in Ontario, but I have 550+. All of it is from the Beast Wars and up.
I'm sure someone in BC has to have a bigger collection then the guy the article.
I think 100 is about average for a TF fan.

My co-worker showed me the newspaper today, he said I should be in it, LMAO. I have less than 200. From the newspaper. It actually has a picture of this guy with a little bit of his collection. He has quite a lot of G1 stuff, there should be more than a hundred.

Isn't CityTV from Toronto?

I have 400+ TF's and only 2 display cases. The rest are in 2 metal storage lockers in the dining room, 3 rubbermaid tubs with TF's individually wrapped in ziplocs, and my stand alone closet has my boxed G1 stuff mainly the bigger guys (ie: Metroplex, Scorponok, Skylinx, etc). Dunno if I want to show my collection on TV though.

Nice, looks like you are the winner. You got picture of your collection? Maybe you can show it to us? :) By the ways, I seen you with a few alternator KO transformers like the WRX Impreze Red One? Where did you get that?

I got those Alt KO's off a fellow board member at the TFW2005 boards. I will post some pics later today hopefully, i'm going to catch the matinee this afternoon. I just hope I don't have a crappy experience like Urban Samurai :D

Isn't CityTV from Toronto?

City TV is from Toronto and is the flagship station but there are other stations in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calargy and Edmonton.

Lightweights :) I need to inventory how many I have in my collection. I had to move it to larger room because there was no more wall room left.

Last time I counted I think I was a the mid 200's. I've cut things back since then and need to do a recount.

That's why you're "Super"! ;)

I went and did my own inventroy last night, just to see what I was looking at myself. I only have 170 or so of them around now. If they had of contacted me about 2 years ago then I could have something to show them. I was well over the 2000 mark in transformers and over the 4000 mark in transforming toys but alas, I sold it all off. I figure I am still around the 700 mark in toys in general but they are not all Transformer toys of course.

Anyway, the invite is still open if anyone wants to contact me. I am unsure if they want it for TV or if it is going to be another newspaper article.
