Pictures.

2007 around the time when I joined TFW and around when my brother's piranha's died. I had to put the toys somewhere. My classics were not even displayed. They felt like cheap kids' toys.

You really don't like sentinel prime eh? Stuffing him in the corner behind the rest.

Very cool collection though!

I actually love Sentinel Prime. :)

2014 Bought a house so I get to have my own fortress of solitude... kinda. LOL
Still in the process of moving though. Corner no longer. I got an entire room for my other "children". LOL

Nice man cave.

Just remember, the new Detolfs don't come with lights anymore, if that is important to you.

Ironically, the ones I have came with lights. The ones on top. I didn't like it so I threw them away.

Looking good. I like the aquarium. Something different.

Thanks. That aquarium has been with me since those piranhas died. The black shelf holds my G1 and MPs. Looking into correcting that.

Any recommendations for LEDs? Cheap but reliable.

The dioder lights from ikea worked well for me, but you can get cheaper on eBay.

Check out Rev's collection showcase. He uses Dioders. Very good value. The lights plug in.

Also check out mine. I used custom LED strip light reels. Around the same price but it's a much more complicated set up. It was quite the tedious project :banghead: and requires some basic electrical skills.

But your set up is very tight. Not much room to tuck away the power supplies. So may get complicated, depending on where your wall outlets are positioned.

Battery powered puck lights from Costco might work well too. But you have a lot of shelves to light. Could get expensive.

But what I'm wondering is what kind of ceiling light do you have installed in that room? Maybe some directional fluorescent or LED track lighting might be a good solution. Then you can point each bulb in where you need it. There are lots a cool option these days.

I've wondered about something like a picture light, but that sits on top and shines down the face of the cabinet. That could be cheaper and easier.
