Couldn't be more excited about this, Perceptor has always been up there with the lambo twins as beeing my favorites of the g1 cast.

The new alt mode is a welcome addition since it doesn't really interfere with that classic robot look he's got.

I'll admit I was one of those fans who was upset this toy didn't transform into a microscope, but to be honest, this half-track alt mode looks really good and does Preceptor justice in a way I didn't think possible. Love it and can't wait to get my hands on it, although it is a little unsettling to think we may never see Preceptor in microscope mode ever again.

However, the update looks great and I can't wait for it!

i'll be getting him, looks like you can probably make a decent microscope mode out of him anyways

that is the absolutely the best bot mode they could have made, alt mode is ok...you can't really tell he is a truck when he is in bot mode. I am glad I preordered him at the original price BBTS had it listed for, its a few bucks cheaper which is good because I PO all the figures in the wave and other lines too.

The robot mode is spot on. Absolutely spectacular. I'm going to get it as soon as it shows up in Kitchener... two months after the first sighting post :(

Love the transformation and the "random" chrome! :P I wonder if a microscope fan mode is possible...
