I wanted to get this but apparently they have to glue an orange plug into the barrell... perhaps automaton will carry it without the orange plug like BBTS?

I think last time they released MP Megatron, Canadian sellers were able to import him without any orange plug or other restrictions, so they should be able to do so again.

Will this one suffer from Cosmic Rust too?

Did you guys get the other half of the news there? That MP-01 is being re-released in March.

Ok, yea..duh..maybe the "in stock" status just means the figure is not pre-sold out yet. I'll be getting this when it is ready to ship.

I just had a look and it says In Stock, but the description says Pre-Order coming in March. Little confusing how they have that laid out.

The re-issue is probably for anyone who broke theirs transforming him.

It's probably their online store system. Otherwise, they can't take pre-orders.

If you don't want an orange cap, don't order from an AMERICAN retailer. If you order from Asia or Canada, there won't be an orange cap. sigh, noobs...

makes me wonder if they corrected any issue areas and beefed them up somehow on this run?

So, you guys think there will be any issues at customs if i order this from Robot Kingdom?, should pass through customs right?, i did buy TFC Megatron from Hong Kong and it arrived on time...no problems.

I bought mine from BBTS. It had the plug...but a pair of pliers and a minimal amount of elbow grease got it out no problem with no damage to the toy. Mine is currently cosmic rusting it up big time. Hope they fixed that.

The orange plug is easy as pie to remove.

I don't see what's the point in ordering from the US; you have to deal with Canada Customs and an unwanted orange plug that can potentially damage the figure.

As for the Cosmic Rust, I believe that Aernaroth recommended spraying the metal bands with a clear or flat sealant coat, like the ones used on finished model kits. Your local hobby shop should sell them in cans.

Cool, since mine will be going into my pile of loot.
