assassin prime

total props for using this mold as a prime goes to fellow member blacklion29.
it is a commission for another fellow member who really liked the idea blacklion29 came up with but wanted to see my take on it.
i changed up the paint scheme to help differentiate it,and i kept the stock drift head.the head itself has been cut,sanded and whittled down to have a battlemask and more characteristically "prime" styled antenna's/ear things.
as a extra,i also modded the inside of his flip open chest to now reveal a matrix of leadership.
the materials used for the matrix are a small bead from wifey's beading box and a reshaped paperclip.
his big sword has had a red wash to help highlight the characters molded into the blade.

up next is first clearcoat,then onto vehicle stripes and small details and touch ups,then i'll take some alt mode pics.

Just to set the record straight, I had the idea of turning Drift into Prime (and Darkmount into Megatron) the minute I got them, well before seeing blacklion29's version, but Otis was my man for the job from the beginning. :)

And you can post updated bot mode pics?it's not just you.the "inside of his windows "are" frosted.
it was unintentional but kinda worked out.
now in alt mode his bot guts aren't "as" visable:D

updated bot mode pics will be in another day or so.
he just received a light coat of clearcoat to seal the decals in when i got home from work today.
now i'm just going to let him sit on the heat vent for a while to make sure he's cured thouroughly.
he wasn't cured fully when i first transformed him into alt mode to start the decals and i ended up having to do touch ups:(
the lesson that i learned here was be patient:banghead::D

the only change though for bot mode is that he now sports 2 autobot symbols in his shoulders.
