m.a.s.k. rhino prime

a basic repaint of the stealthforce prime into a old favorite of mine.
this was the first time i ever tried to use gamesworkshop citadel paints and i didn't really like it.
i think i'm going to stick to tamiya acrylics.
i also butchered a fastlane toy semi rig to try to make the "correct" sleeper unit but that didn't work out in the end.
i intentionally left certain areas their stock color just to make it seem like prime was really squeezed into there.
the stripes are hand cut vinyl.

because it's "stealth force" prime;).
voyager class sized,but motorized transformation and lights and sounds at the touch of a button.
no robot mode but in it's place there's a "battle vehicle" mode.(besides m.a.s.k.,
think of "starcom"from the eighties)

i do also have a used leader class tftm07 prime in the works for something upcoming too:primelaugh:

Some really nice work here O. I've always been a M.A.S.K. fan.

I still have my Boulder Hill. Got it off ePay some time ago....(never had it as a kid....was too "expensive" my mom would always say) just keep an eye out there for one....pretty much all of them go for more than decent prices, but finding them with the original gas pump hoses may be a mission in itself....but those are easily replaced.

Anyways!....keep the M.A.S.K. stuff coming man. Love it!! :)

Dude this is totally awesome. Love it!
Didn't dig the GW paints eh? I'm still using both. I do find that some of their colors, like the greys & silvers, don't go on very smooth with a brush. Even with dry brushing.

It looks nice but you should have primed Prime. I can still see the flames underneath the red paint. Overall though, nice and great idea.

usually i don't prime unless i really have to.(white over red)
this was definately a learning experience trying out a different paint besides the usual tamiya's.
the flames peeking through bug me too along with a few areas that showed up when i took the pics:(

Dark colours and blue it's good to prime. It still looks nice plus bonus for someone making use out of those toys, however anything can be a learning experience. :)
