i already dont drink, or eat many snacks or at restaurants, or go to concerts or sporting events, or do anything really. no console gaming systems, and no pay per month mmorpgs or subscriptions or anything.

transformers were pretty much my only extravagant purchases. that and dvds from time to time, which are also being cut out.

What color did you use?

I used a flat dark grey, helps to fill in detail, then drybrushed chome silver. Added a bit of red here and there (can't really see in the pics) and some touchups of black paint to where he had black.
It's pretty simple to do and looks A LOT better than the toy we got. Not trying to sound arrogant and I don't want to come off that way, but Hasbro could do much better in sales with Megatron painted in chrome instead of a dull grey and pink thingies on his back.
I'm sure Megatron WILL sell, but they should have opted for a much richer colour scheme.

Also, Tru has him on sale for 49.99 instead of 69.99. It's great deal.

That's some sharp looking shit there Joshimus. You could make some extra cake selling repaints like that to shmoes like me.

I painted him to look Pewter and to basically make him look more realistic and metalic.
Makes me more excited to see Megs on the big screen actually.

Damn that looks good....I can hardly believe it that dull grey Megatron I saw in Quebec. I'm going to have to try repainting mine like that because I'm not a big fan of the blue or failure to even look close to the movie version but DAMN your paint job nailed it.
