My condolences for your friend, Dak.
I've been hearing nothing but nice things about him on TFW2005.

I really still cant believe that he's gone.....I don't know I just don't want to.

Having known the man in real life and having had roomed with him at Botcon in Dallas back in 2005 I can say without reservation he was, despite his shortcomings, one of the most genuinely nice persons I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He was just a good person and a great guy period. I knew back then that a lot of his stuff had been related to long term and ongoing medical issues, and having talked to him, seem him around here on TFW, and at Botcon last year, I knew it was something he struggled with. But at the same time it was almost inspiring. We all have problems in real life but Shaun from what I know has I'm sure not to have had an easy life, but despite the adversity he always had his head held high, a smile on his face, and something nice to say despite everything. What makes this so hard is also with Botcon only weeks away the show wont be the same without him. He was a true fan of the Transformers and the fact that this happened so close to one of the greatest moments in the history of a franchise that Shaun and all of us love makes this especially hard.

I don't know I don't but that's what I gotta say, like I said this is all so sudden I still cant believe it.

Shaun you will be missed buddy RIP.

My thoughts and prayers go to his friends and family.

Last year he dared me to drop my pants at BotCon. All weekend I pretended I was going to do it, then finally on the Sunday he tried to call my bluff, and in the middle of the dealer room I dropped them.

He was a funny guy, and like others have said one of the most positive people I've ever met. He literally touched hundreds of lives.
