how long does TRU price match or whatever for?..

I brought 2 robot heroes set & 1 real gear from them for 31.61 on 5/30/07
and now there on sale? :S thats 8 bucks I coulda saved man! on that sale that could have gotten me allmost 2 more robot heroes figures :S

FYI I note that some of TRUS prices can still be beat by other stores even WITH these sales...

The cyber stompers sale price is zellers REGULAR price for them! Not only that but zellers is having there own sale on them too!

If the price match thing is indeed 45 days, I should hopefully be able to cash in on the Leader Prime and 2 sets of Robot Heroes that I bought. Fingers crossed that they don't give me any grief about it.

You know I've never done a price fix before; what do I do exactly, just bring the bill in and say I want you to price adjust this item? I mean I only bought Grimlock/Shockwave this Tuesday and I don't know if it's worth it, but then again if I can get just a little extra bit of cash back Saturday I'll be paying more for Leader Class Prime in Cash then on Credit.

Advice would be useful; personally I'm a little lost when it comes to returns/refunds the only time I ever had to do it was because Mini-Con Thrust was missing his arm straight out of the package.

I have always just brought back the receipt and asked for price match (they'll refund according to your payment method on your receipt) and I never had any problems.

Every dollar saved helps :)

Yup what he said, you don't really need to bring the item in but you can if you still have it misb... If you are scared just go buy something else while you are doing it and then ask if they can match it and show them the bill then they can just put it towords whatever you are currently buying ...

Go to the Customer Service/Returns desk RIGHT at the entrance of the TRU.

Tell'em you want to get the sale price, and have the receipt.

Takes all of a couple minutes for you to fill out the little card and them to give you your cash back.

See this is what I was talking about, I knew it's kinda bad for business but it's smart shopping for TF fans. Never NEVER buy class sizes larger then deluxe on it's initial release unless your dealing with a shortpacked or rare figure. I learned with Cybertron, every size class got a huge reduction and I would get the figures cheaper. Considering how I am a insane completiest it's the only way to go when you have other expenses aswell.

I would get Leader Prime, because I'm also getting Voyager Prime.. lol. But with the sale going on I would advise you get Prime early rather than later. well that's just me.

Just to point out to those in Quebec:
If you check the ENGLISH flyer on the website, it has Voice Changers, Cyber Stompin', FAB, Leader Class, Real Gear and 3" Titaniums on sale/special.
The FRENCH flyer (seemingly the one that Quebec gets), does NOT have Voice-Changers listed on sale; instead, there's the 2-pack Robot Heroes in its place.
I went to TRU this morning, and found no Voice-Changers. This is leading me to think that there aren't any Voice-Changers in TRU in Quebec yet...

I bought the helmet yay! Had leader class optimus in my hands, but a staff members that I had been bugging to set aside a megatron leader for me when they come in, had set aside a voyager starscream for me! couldn't afford both so went with the starscream, pretty happy tho

Saw a Voyager Starscream and a couple Ironhides at the Calgary Trail TRU.

Picked up Prime though - gonna go back for SS or Ironhide next week. Then the one I don't get the week after.

And there's so many Ratchets warming shelves I shouldn't have a problem getting him. Very few Blackouts though.

I don't think any other figure has a chance of topping him in the near future. (Not including Masterpieces). FAR superior to even an Alternator IMO.

u haven't seen the target exclusive robo vision optimus prime...He's nice, too....I find it better than leader op. :D

anyway, picked up leader prime and return it to zellers...damn cs was giving me a hard time because they think it was an electronics thing and only have 30 days return policy instead of 90 days....have to argue with them that it was a toy and that the automorph was just a gimick...in the end, they let me return it...save myself $10. =)

Damn, free shipping does not apply to anywhere in BC. All the BC postal suffixes are on their excluded list to be eligible for free shipping. I want the Robot Heroes at $5.97!

Tried to PM the TRU Ad (OP + the RG robots) at a WM last night and I got shot-down by the WM Rep who said no due to the fine-print wording of the ad where it said 'quantities limited, while supplies last'.

I'll just try another store soon, and return them all unopened if I have to save the $20+.
