Is it my imagination or are Movieverse Activators not as fun to look at as the Animated ones? I can't quite put my finger on just what is wrong with them, but quite frankly I think the Activators size class really should have been left alone after Animated was finished.

They just don't look like figures I'd want to add to my collection and I'm not entirely sure why that is. If they made new Generations Topspin and Twin Twist in this size class though with possibly Runabout and Runamuck to follow I might prefer their look provided they try and stick to the G1 looks of the figures while modernizing them for a new audience.

Come to think of it I'd love to see the Jumpstarters and Battle Chargers revived as Activators, I think they'd work much better to continue the size class compared to the visual aesthetics of the movie designs.

I agree 100%

These look like mini FAB's. I think the animated activators worked because the designs were out of proportion anyways, so the toys looked correct. Because the movie verse are not stylized the same way as animated, the figures just look...wrong.

But, I guess we will see when they come out.

Animated Activators had correct proportions.

Movie Activators are deformed like FABs (look at the bigger heads).
