I hope this isn't true. I thought the twins were funny, loved watching them beat on each other when they got frustrated. :D If this is true however, I do hope it is not due to the negative reaction Skids and Mudflap got in ROTF.

I'm all up for them moving aside to make way for new characters in the movie. But to not have them at all? I think it would be weird to be rid of them completely.. seeing as how they are already rendered and in the continuity. They could be easy background bots, with a couple of jokes cracked here and there.

I've decided to look at these movies as TV episodes. Sometimes we saw Ratchet, sometimes we didn't. Sometimes we saw Prowl, and sometimes no, etc. So that means we will see some Autobots in these movies and sometimes no.

Umm...not sure how I feel about this. I didn't hate them, but I also didn't love them. It feels a bit like Bay and Company are backpeddling a bit on their decisons from the 2nd movie, creating a type of omission that they shit the bed on the second movie. BUT, hopfully this will make way for some new cooler bots to replace them.

You're right, I really wouldn't mind Sideswipe having some more screen time if it meant getting rid of the twins. I mean, I like them and everything, but they're not my favorites by any means.

I also really didn't mind the twins themselves, they were alright. I just sort of wished they had give those two character slots to some cooler bots. Or maybe traded some of their screentime for Sideswipe and/or Arcee.
