They're just little cgi animated shorts that are on Hasbro's website. They do have a cheesy charm to them, though.
If these are going to get a dvd release then that means one of two things: Hasbro will make quite a number of these shorts or Hasbro will pack dvd's with a few episodes in with figures as a kind of cross-sell.

They are pretty awesome, a lot of little nods to stuff here and there (Scramble City, Animated) and honestly being a glorified toy commercial aside, it's nice to see repainted toys with some live in them.
