Meh...in this case I'd have to say the wide release version "FTW".

The G1 homage is awesome but the multi-colouring of the original version really punctuates Devy's gestalt form.

For a time, I considered sparing the wretched little...wait, for a time, I considered getting this, but I think it would be more fun repainting the Hasbro release to G1 colours.

Yeah, he's cute... But I'm perfectly happy with my regulation version standing next to the Micromaster Devastator, who seems to handle the G1 colours better.

I think I'll hit up a local Wally Mart this weekend to find my Prrrecioussssss...<golum!> now that I know the G1 coloured version is ho hum <golum!>.

I still say it needs more purple to break up the green. Still looks nice though.

Whether or not I pick it up depends on whether or not the North American version is announced before the original-colour version goes on special for the first time.
