Bumblebee looks decent. Prime looks okay in robot mode but his altmode is just a mess. Still, compared to stuff like Built to Rule they don't look half bad.

You know, I think they intentionally plan on these sort of things to fail.

Some people around the office get worked up about the possibility of some idea, and its a valid cool idea. So they pitch it to the higher ups.

The higher-ups really don't think its a great idea, or they think it doesn't work in with their plans so they reluctantly give the ok for it, but allocate next to no resources.

Its sort of a "management is giving us the go-ahead on this idea but only supplied us with a rubber band and a pez dispenser" kind of thing.

So the end result is something with good intentions, but bad execution like BTR.

In the end management pulls the plug because they just aren't popular, so that way when anyone else comes up with a similar idea they don't even have to answer, they just point to what failed before.

Or on the other hand the product may be awesome and well designed but then the cost is so outrageous that nobody buys it.

Admittedly, the robot modes of these are pretty awesome, and they do transform. If they're really cheap, sure I might pick them up.

If they're crazy expensive I'll just dig through my giant box of LEGO and build my own.
